I think the 4.5 inch lift will need trimming so I want to get the 7 inch but then im thinking the 35s might be to small. Its really just personal preference. You shouldnt consider gears unless you are considering 37" tires. I believe that you will get better mpg with 35s and stock gears vs 35s and 4.88.

Only had to trim the skid plate. I ran 35 12.50 kumho mt's needed 1.5" wheel spacers to clear the side lugs. I have 325/60/20's on 20 x 9 wheels with a 3" front 1.5" rear lift. The tire are 35.12 tall x 13" wide. I would definitely get in regeared because I'm a firm believer that it is better to be overgeared than undergeared. Thanks for all the responses guys.
