Star citizen camera controls. I want to use my joystick to zoom and pan around the 3rd person view, both when on foot and when in a ship. Basically it only works now in a ship if I'm in quantum jump - by holding F4 and turning my joystick. But if I'm not in QT, holding F4 and moving joystick just moves the ship around instead of moving the camera in 3rd person view.

Turret control appears to be tied to flight view for whatever reason. Setting flight view to one of your joysticks allows control of a manned turret and does not cause you to look around the cockpit when flying, which is nice. Thanks for the help everyone!
