Heya! So I had installed the updated EC firmware 6J5EMS3.108 for my GE62-6QC, which basically lets the fan run constantly. However, it runs a constant 3000rpm, which isn't that horrendous, but looking back, I actually prefer the old firmware where it kicks in when the CPU reaches a certain temperature.

About 4 months ago I one of the fans (I believe the CPU one) started revving up and down randomly. Under no load it would go up to 6k RPM while the other fans wouldn't even spin or stay at a normal 2k RPM.
