The cummins manual shows a minimum pressure of 10psi at 800rpm. I have tried multiple sending units and verified the wiring to the cluster. I purchased a new oil pressure test kit from my snap on rep and put it on the top of the filter housing 1/8 npt port. When idling at 750ish rpm my engine shows 9psi and drops as low as 7psi at times randomly.
