ran into this about 2 weeks ago - bought part number 25932569 - (evap canister) for 50 bucks from the dealership. (apparently the part for our trucks is alot more - around the 150 dollar mark, all we need to do with our trucks is reuse the hose to make the cheap part work.)

I went ahead and replaced the Vent solenoid on the canister attached to the gas tank.
