Drive on. I have a Boat Latch. Drive on is excellent but I haven't used the drive off yet. I do think the Boat Catch is a slightly better system due to the positive locking mechanism but I couldn't fit it due to my sealed hull below the bow eye and I needed to replace my winch post to fit it above the bow eye.
